Gilmour 20-58050 Review by Hopelessly Caffeinated in Phoenix

In my part of the US, pigeons can be a real problem. My old hose (a cheap Home Depot purchase) did not survive the birds. Within days, they poked holes in it, so I got quite the surprise when I went to water my plants. This one, however, is VERY well constructed and the pigeons are at last subdued.

On top of that lovely benefit, this hose is extremely durable and has a great heft to it. I can't claim that it never kinks, but it is nothing like any other hose I've messed with before. Additionally, the connection to the supply is very sturdy and easy to tighten, unlike many I've dealt with in the past.

So far as I can tell, this is a phenomenal product for home use. Also, mine is in the sun basically all day, yet has not dried, cracked, or otherwise shown any signs of wear and tear. Having weeks on end where the temp is over 110 and sunny - being able to withstand mother nature is a huge benefit in my book.

This hose appeared well made, but after one year of usage the hose herneated and burst in several areas. This hose does kink, but is more slightly more resistant to kinking with water pressure on than most others used in the past.
